Description
I visited the British Museum and was amazed at a small figure carved from a mammoth tusk. It was a Lion Man. This was a prehistoric ivory sculptuure made between 35OOO and 4OOO years ago. It was stunning. The image stayed with me. I made this trio in Denmark where I had a 6 week residency.
